My first day at job "what a start"

My first day at job- see this what a starting, I was asked to join on a weekly off !
There was nothing to see on that site as the site was too remote in a jungle and “ adivasi prone area” and due to work pressure full staff was called on that day , same was with me.
I reached at right time. Few people were waiting outside an old shed ( old 1960’s style factory shed ) . soon I learnt someone forgot to put the office keys with securities the day before. I saw each face and they to with a welcome smile and some with a mysterious smile (thinking……AA gaya hun”). The youngest of them was 17 yrs elder then me…….can you believe no youngsters……..after waiting for half an hour my boss’s PA said we need your help. Now I was thinking “HOW?” what they want me to do? He smiled……again mysteriously he said “welcome to zawar mines sir”
They all were having big mass of fats floating on their three sides of tummy. We removed the window cooler and opened the ventilator and jumped inside with help of his back’s support as the height of window was approx 7 feet from ground . Now I opened the rear gate of that office from inside and the day started and also my professional life.
In starting I learnt SAP, SOX etc,( as my work demanded that and being a mechanical engineer my software knowledge was quite soft!!!!!!) in my lunch time as no computer was allotted to me so I have to find vacant seats in lunch time , this was something I hated . It was taking more than 15-16 hrs a day working in that remote site…….and when boss calls you on your every weekly holiday…...you know what can I feel and shout m…......!!!!!. Later after a month’s induction I was handling contracts section in techno commercial dept and within a month an additional resp. to handle “auditors”. (auditors story I’ll write in some other post)
